Spaniel males measure between 57 and 62 cm at the withers. The females measure between 55 and 60cm. It is a dog with flat, slightly wavy hair. The main difference with the Bleu de Picardie is the coat color; the color of the Picardy Spaniel is rather gray with brown patches on the various parts of the body and often tan on the head and legs.
